About Me:

My mom introduced me to photography when I was young and still encourages my passion for it today.

When I embarked on a sixth grade trip to Washington D.C.—point and shoot camera in hand—my mom critiqued the images upon my return. And, when I began to seriously explore photography in college, it was my mom who presented me with my first Single Lens Reflex camera as a birthday gift.

But my mom also taught me that the true value of a photograph is not just the quality of the image, but the story it tells. And as a photographer, nothing gives me more joy than the chance to help someone tell their story through my lens.

As for my story, I’ve had the fortune to play many roles in my life. Husband. Father. Son. Brother. Uncle. Dog-Lover. Cat-whisperer. Camp Counselor. Community Organizer. Conservation Advocate. Recovering Lawyer. And so much more.

But it is my love and passion for photography that wakes me up every morning with the hope of experiencing something new and creating something beautiful.

But it is my love and passion for photography that wakes me up every morning with the hope of experiencing something new and creating something beautiful.

My Why:

A great photograph doesn’t just replicate a snapshot in time, it captures the essence of a moment; it allows us to take hold of a memory and cherish it forever.

That’s why I am a photographer.

I have spent years in training so that I can expertly create and capture these moments for you and your family. But I believe strongly that my obligation is to do more than just skillfully generate a portrait with my camera.

Rather, I shoulder the responsibility of preserving memories and telling stories through my images—to expose human emotion, uphold the innocence of youth, document rights of passage, and capture the beauty of creation.

My job isn’t just to make you or your family look great—that’s a given. You should expect so much more from your photographer.

I am committed to providing a complete service to my clients.

Of course I am going to partner with you to create a one-of-a-kind portrait experience and amazing images that tell your unique story.

But even after the session is complete I am going to stick with you to ensure that your images are printed properly and that your memories are preserved for your children and grandchildren. I am here to advise you and help you select the best images from your session. And then I will assist you in designing exquisite works of photographic art that will add beauty, character, and value to the walls of your home.

My goal is to excite you about a portrait experience that is tailored to fit your individual style and personality. And to be your trusted adviser throughout the entire process—from planning to print—so that I can help you and your family capture and preserve this special moment in your lives.
