Where does time go? Spring has sprung and I’m just now getting around to posting these “winter wonderland” styled shoot fashion images from last month! From scouting the perfect locations to selecting props and clothing to the technical lighting details, this portrait session was A LOT of work, but I hope you agree the results…
A lot of people don’t realize that gloomy days sometimes produce the most spectacular photographs. Bright sunny days create harsh shadows that are sometimes difficult to work with and don’t produce the most flattering images. Here’s some shots of Bethany that we took during a break in the rain at the McMenamin’s Edgefield conference center in Troutdale, Oregon.
Really fun shoot with Rosa this week! It’s amazing how a small bit of creative lighting can turn a plain ol’ Oregon woods into an enchanted forest!
Who says you can’t take beautiful photographs in the rain!? It was pouring buckets most of the day, but Catherine insisted on making the most of our shoot this afternoon!
Perfect weather for an awesome fashion shoot in Mollalla this week! I had so much fun with Cindy and her friends Char and Missy (who you can see in previous posts). A beautiful evening sun and an open farm field made for some spectacular images! (Click on the images below to see larger versions).
Really fun fashion shoot this week with Char and several of her friends! The evening sun made for beautiful light and stunning portraits.
Here are a few black and white images of Missy, taken as the sun set in a field near a weathered barn in Molalla, Oregon.
I got to spend Valentine’s day on a photo shoot with my favorite adopted niece, Abby!
I think Lin probably has the coolest eyes of anyone I’ve yet had the chance to photograph!
