Oregon’s Bull of the Woods Wilderness is just far enough off the beaten path to still be one of the Pacific Northwest’s best kept secrets. With spring finally warming up, I took advantage of some clear skies last week to wander into a remote northeastern section of the forest along Dickey Creek. As I climbed in elevation I eventually hit snow too deep to traverse, but that just gave me ample time to photograph the beautiful flow of Dickey Creek.
