Gabrielle is an Estacada senior at Clackamas High School. She’s an outdoorsy and adventurous soul who is beautiful and accomplished, inside and out.

Gabrielle loves surfing and snowboarding. And she even climbed Half Dome in Yosemite. She is a world traveler, having spent the summer before her senior year in Germany. After graduation she really wants to go sky diving before going to the University of Oregon for environmental studies. And if that isn’t enough, she rounds it all out as a cello player!

Heading to the beach or up to the Mountain for her senior portrait wasn’t an option for Gabrielle.  The timing just wasn’t going to work out even though she would have loved to have been photographed with her snowboard or her surfboard!

Instead, we decided on Milo McIver State Park, a beautiful park just outside Gabrielle’s hometown of Estacada.

Milo McIver State Park is a picturesque 950-acre park that offers a wide range of outdoor recreational activities, making it a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers alike. Named after Milo K. McIver, a former district attorney and state legislator, the park is situated along the scenic Clackamas River.  One of the park’s main attractions is its extensive trail network, which spans over 14 miles. The trails wind through lush forests, open meadows, and along the river, offering plenty of diverse opportunities for senior portraits

We began Gabrielle’s senior portrait session in a meadow on the South end of Milo McIver Park. One of the outfits that she chose to wear was a beautiful yellow, vintage dress that was worn by her grandmother.  It was the perfect choice, as the color complemented the golden grasses that surrounded her, creating a unique and timeless look, infused with a bit of nostalgia and sentimental value.

We spent some time along the banks of the Clackamas River, where the dress and Gabrielle were equally stunning.

Next we headed downriver toward another section of the park where we found an open fieldd. Here we decided to photograph Gabrielle with her cello. The brown cello, yellow dress, and golden fields created a beautiful color harmony in Gabrielle’s senior pictures.

We also couldn’t resist the chance to photograph Gabrielle with her cello along the banks of the Clackamas River. The melodic flow of the river certainly complemented the feeling of these senior portraits.

Lastly, we added a touch of fun to Gabrielle’s senior portrait session with an incredible 1970’s outfit styled by Gabrielle herself!  From the funky shirt down to the bell bottoms, Gabrielle rocked her senior portrait session!
