Matt is an athletic, casual, laid back high school senior who plays football for Valley Catholic High School in Beaverton, Oregon. He loves to play football and plans to attend George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon where he will be a linebacker for the Bruins.

Being an athlete seems to run in the family, though. A few years back I had the opportunity to photograph Matt’s sister for her senior portraits. She played baseball, basketball AND was the manager of Valley Catholic High School’s football team. https://www.brianpasko.com/lauren-valley-catholic-high-school/

Matt also loves being outdoors, so we settled on Mary S. Young Park as a location for his senior portraits. Located along the banks of the Willamette River, Mary S. Young Park offers a lot of opportunities for high school senior portraits. The park has a vast network of trails that wind through the woods and along the river, providing plenty of opportunities for unique and beautiful shots. The natural setting of the park was the perfect place for Matt’s senior pictures because it reflects the athlete’s connection to nature and the great outdoors.

Matt likes to dress casually, so he chose to wear his favorite every-day green shirt and, of course, came with a football. Additionally he wore a dressier blue and white collared shirt, a comfy sweater, and wanted to include his football jersey in a few of his senior pictures. He also brought along his girlfriend for some “moral support!”

Senior pictures are the perfect way to commemorate the end of a student’s high school athletic career, and choosing the right location is essential. Mary S. Young Park in West Linn, Oregon, was the ideal location for Matt and a great place for anya high school senior football player to consider using for their senior portraits.
