Darlene and Lennox were married this month during a large, yet intimate weding ceremony at the Coast Hills Community Church in Mcminville, Oregon where Lennox is the worship pastor.
Their day began at a friend’s beautiful home at the edge of town where both the bride and groom spent the morning getting ready while surrounded by family and friends prior to the ceremony.
Darlene and Lennox have been best friends for more thant seven years before they finally realized “isn’t this what married couples do?” Their deep friendship and love was apparent as they experienced their first look prior to the ceremony, and then took the time to be photographed with their closes friends and family members.
Darlene and Lennox wanted their guests to be fully engaged in their wedding ceremony. As a result, they chose to have an unplugged wedding, asking their guests to put away their cell phones and cameras for a short time so they could share this important moment with them
Lennox has so many close friends that he couldn’t bring himself to select a small number of groomsmen. Instead, he invited all of the men in the room to stand by and support him and his bride as he said his wedding vows.
Their May wedding ceremony was a bit misty and rainy. But after the ceremony the skies cleared and we found a small patch of green just outside the church. The overcast skies created the perfect light for beautiful portraits of the bride and groom.
Congratulations to a beautiful couple whose strong friendship is surely to grow even stronger in their many years ahead.
