Scott is a senior at Clackamas High School and wanted to take his senior pictures at his neighborhood park: Hidden Falls Bridge in Happy Valley. Scott grew up playing in the park and climbing up and down the ravine that is now fenced off to the public. So we went on an adventure together and headed down the steep hill to photograph him on the bridge.

Hidden Falls Bridge in Happy Valley, Oregon is a popular spot for high school senior pictures because of its natural beauty and versatility. The bridge, which spans over a small waterfall and stream, offers a unique and picturesque backdrop for senior photos. Unfortunately the waterfall is tucked away deep into the valley and the only way to view it is from the bridge, which made it impossible to capture the waterfall behind Scott in the photographs.

But Hidden Falls Bridge still has a lot to offer. One of the main reasons to choose Hidden Falls Bridge as the location for your senior pictures is the variety of settings it provides. The bridge itself is a great spot for traditional posed shots, and the surrounding forest also provides a picturesque setting.

The bridge at Hidden Falls and the surrounding area has a rich history that dates back to the early 20th century. The area was originally settled by homesteaders in the 1800s, who used the area for logging and farming. In the 1920s, the land was purchased by a man named George F. Williams, who used the land as a recreational area and built a cabin near the waterfall. The cabin was a popular spot for picnics and family outings. In the 1950s, the land was sold to the city of Happy Valley and became a popular spot for hiking and fishing.

Then, in the late 1990s, the city of Happy Valley decided to build a bridge to improve access to the waterfall and stream. The bridge was built in 2000, and it was named Hidden Falls Bridge. The bridge was designed to be a replica of an old covered bridge, and it was built using traditional construction techniques and materials. The area around Hidden Falls Bridge is now protected as a city park, and the bridge quickly became a popular spot for picnics. It also became a popular spot for photography, and especially senior portrait sessions.

Despite this popularity, though, Hidden Falls Bridge is still one of the lesser known parks in the area. One of it’s biggest benefits for high school seniors is that unlike more popular and crowded spots, Hidden Falls Bridge offers a more intimate and exclusive setting for your senior pictures. For seniors that are a bit on the shy side or who want something a bit faster and low-key, Hidden Falls Bridge is certainly an option to consider.
